About The BoneYard Bar-B-Q

Located at 7010 N Telegraph Rd, Dearborn Heights, MI 48127, The BoneYard Bar-B-Q operates as a chinese bbq serving Dearborn Heights in Michigan. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (313) 561-0102. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is theboneyardbbq.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Its Google rating is 4.0 out of 5 from 2,890 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

Dearborn Heights is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Dearborn Heights follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I made it clear to the lady at the front desk that I was going to leave a review so this is why I'm here. I called the boneyard in regards to the problem I had with my food, I ordered four baked potatoes for dinner for my family I had already got the meat from smoking Steve's food truck which is absolutely fire but that's besides the point I got the baked potatoes home and was cutting them open for my kids and realized that they were way overdone. I look at the bottom and they are absolutely scorched. I called back to talk to the manager to tell her that they are burned someone here is a new cook or something because this isn't the first problem I had but nonetheless I reordered to give them a second chance because who the hell can ruin a baked potato? Well, boneyard can. I told the lady who is like the owner or whatever what the problem was and she asked me what what I like her to do about it?(Like an oh well, nott my problem way)She went down explaining that they cooked them on a pan and that they get burned on the pan on the bottom, which I didn't have 45 minutes today so I felt like I'll just grab the baked potatoes really quick instead of making them. I brought them back up h

Jennifer was our server and she was extremely good. Jennifer stayed on top of every need we had. The food was very good and the chips are homemade and the best ever. We go every Saturday to a different restaurant and give honest feed back in our reviews. We all agreed that we will definitely return the Bone Yard.

After years of looking at the Boneyard and saying it smell good I finally decided to try it after leaving the gas station I go to next door. I ordered the small end special. $19.55 and I would NOT go back. I don't know if it was closing time. It was 8:30 pm. And my food smelled burnt. My bread was burnt and the ribs were tough and fatty. The potatoes were okay. A few weren't all the way done but they were okay otherwise. The Cole slaw was dry as a bone. The sauce was the best part. I ate off of one bone and picked off the others and I was done. This was a very disappointing experience. Definetely not worth the $19.55 spent.

Very friendly staff. Wait staff have a good sense of humor. Well laid out inside, good amount of room. Had the lunch combo with 3 ribs & 1/4 chicken, all BBQ. Chicken is available broasted, too. All come with slaw has cottage fries plus a slab of garlic toast. The ribs could use a bit more time to break down that soft tissue but had decent flavor. The chicken was literally falling off the bone, very tender. Coleslaw was a bit soupy but decently, if lightly, flavored. There is only one sauce, also lightly flavored. A selection of flavors would be nice. Hot sauce is available, too.

Visited The Boneyard on Telegraph Road with my children for their family special. I used to really enjoy eating here and felt like it was a good value, but after paying $75 for the meal, it no longer felt special or worth it. The fried chicken and fries were decent, but not enough to justify the price increase. I told my children that it would be the last time I pay that kind of money for a simple meal like this. Unfortunately, what used to be a go-to spot for us will not be one anymore due to the cost. Service was okay, but the value just isn’t there anymore for my family.
